You can see Garrett's personality shine through in this video. Why? Garrett basically planned the spooky videos. You can see the change when he moved into the new house, and "filmed the demon in his house", which was a clickbait vlog where he speaks about something sp00ky for 5min at the end of the video. Shane just took credit for those ideas, and acted as if that is what he was interested in. The whole "spooky boys" is basically what Garrett is doing now, but the way he wants and being comfortable in what he does for an audience that enjoys that content. Before hand (when I was a fan, not anymore) he would be more like Garrett or Drew. This also happens during the whole J* sereis: he picks up his mannerisms and jokes, like being a "rich pig", boogee, etc. He used those quirks to be fun and "relatable". The fact that, you can see how Shane adopted parts of Garrett's personality for proffit (basically), yet ridiculed him at the same time. I noticed this as well, and I agree with other posters.
